What's good everyone? You're listening to WKNC 88.1 FM Raleigh. We are a student run nonprofit radio station based out of North Carolina State University. I'm Plover and this is off the record, and I'm not alone in the studio right now. Do y'all mind introducing yourself?

0:12
Yeah. My name is Newman.

0:14
How's it going, my name is Benny Okoto.

0:15
Awesome. Yeah. Thank you so much for coming out here. How you doing today?

0:18
Doing good. Just stuck in traffic a little bit ago. So that's not fun, but I appreciate you for having us.

0:25
Just doing good man, can't complain.

0:27
So you didn't have any traffic problems on the way here?

0:29
No, it was actually very smooth ride. Yep.

0:32
Nice. Nice. So the uh, the average of that, should be, should be good to go. Um, so who are y'all and where are you from?

0:39
Oh, yeah, like I said, my name is Newman. I'm from Raleigh. Um, yeah, pretty much from Raleigh, from the area. Family's from Ghana though. West Africa.

0:48
Yeah. Um, Benny Okoto, yeah. I'm from Raleigh. Yeah. From Raleigh, family from Ghana.

0:54
So how do you all get started making music and kind of getting into the, to the game as it, as it, suppose?

1:00
Yeah, I would say, always just had a love for music. And one day, he just brought home a mic, like, we were in high school and, and uh that's, we just started messing around with Audacity. I don't know if you're familiar with that song.

1:13
Yeah, using that today. It's a great little thing.

1:16
Yeah, that's really where it started. Um. But.

1:19
Yeah, I mean, I've always had a love for music. As far as, I think it was 101.5. Um, G 10- I don't remember if it's G, but 101.5 here in Raleigh. They would play like, a bunch of like, you know, eclectic music. And then we just kind of branched into a wider range, and found a love for hip hop.

1:40
Nice. So were you, did you start making hip hop music to begin with? Or just like songs, you?

1:46
Yeah, it was, it was out there. It was based in hip hop, but it was like, I mean, I think everyone had like, their EDM, dubstep phase. But it started there with a bunch of little samples. But, you know, we had hip hop influence, but you know, it was out there first, and then it just, you know, see as far as we could go with it.

2:04
So, so what would you, I guess, describe as like, your current style of music, like, where are you at right now?

2:09
Right now, I'm heavy on the raps, a lot of just, you know, just raps, but also melodies as well. Um, uh, you, mean moreso just like, like other artists, or just in general? What I'm, what we making?

2:23
What you're making I guess? Like, if you had like comparisons, or like, just kind of like, to describe for our listeners like, what it sounds like.

2:30
Right. Yeah. I mean, I just, I just like, a lot of the lyrics, lyrics really have, you know, double meanings and things of that nature. Things that touch on different topics. But really just raps for me, yeah. Just the sport of rapping.

2:45
Yeah.

2:45
Yeah, well, for me, I just dropped, um, I think a couple of months ago, back in the summer, it was called Lonely Hearts Club. So that was more like club music, kind of more like, vibey melodic music. So that's kind of what I'm trying to transition out of and go to like, something else, when I start creating again.

3:04
And y'all have a specific show coming up this weekend that I, there are a lot of posters in the studio right now, for those of you who are not in the room, but what is it exactly that you're doing this weekend?

3:15
Yeah, we got this thing called Day Shift, which is a, which is a day party, basically. It's going down in Durham, at the Fruit. It'll be from 2:30 to 9, and we got a lot of dope, you know, artists outside of ourselves on the lineup, as well as like four or five different DJs in one room, and four or five in another. So it was kind of like you know, mini festival vibe. We got vendors and food trucks and things of that nature.

3:41
Video games.

3:42
Video game tournament going down. If you're into Super Smash Bros, definitely pull up.

3:45
Nice. Yeah, I know some people who basically that's their religion, I'll for sure let them know.

3:52
Nobody can see me with Mario. I'm just gonna put that out there.

3:55
Captain Falcon, that's my guy.

3:57
No, I'm more of a Palatina person.

4:00
You said which one?

4:01
Palatina.

4:02
Oh, that's the new, this new one.

4:03
Yeah, yeah.

4:03
Yeah, okay.

4:04
Do y'all rock with like, melee?

4:05
That's what I was gonna say, melee's my main one so I'm not, I don't know all the, because that's ultimate right?

4:06
Yeah.

4:06
Right. Yeah, I don't know all the characters on there.

4:14
Oh, I, Doctor Mario was my melee classic. I remember.

4:18
Yeah, he's cool. He's a little slower than the actual Mario, but, it wasn't bad.

4:23
So yeah, y'all have a great lineup here. We of course love working with Tia Corinne, was that really cool to put that together with her?

4:29
Oh, yeah.

4:30
She's dope. She's dope. Like I just recently, within like the last year or so, got put on her. Yeah, she's, she's fire.

4:38
And that's really what we just wanted to do was just, just artists from from around the state that we just, you know, just like what they got going on, just talented folks, and just try to curate something that was, that was dope.

4:48
Yeah, for sure. So what was the like, the idea for like a day party, like instead of just like, a show, just like, I don't know, on like a Friday night or something.

4:56
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. We uh, we went up to New York this summer.

4:59
Okay.

5:01
And we went to a couple day parties out there. So I will say this, I gotta give, you know, some inspiration to that. Just, just the type of vibe that was out there, especially with, you know, different DJs doing back to back sets. That was just like, it was just, it was just a good time. So we figured, you know, when we started trying to do shows, and we've done a lot of shows in the past around the area, as well, as uh, when I was out in Virginia for a while. But this is our, one of our first ones, you know, post COVID and everything. So we figured we wanted to kind of add some of that flavor to it. As well as like we said, just, just have a variety of dope artists on the lineup, but kind of maintain that party vibe.

5:41
Yeah.

5:42
So it's, it's shorter sets for like the performances, and then you know, longer for the DJs to spin. So.

5:51
Yes, it's kind of a new concept that hopefully, maybe might see more in the future, things like this, that we hope to, like, you know, you know, put on, not just us but just, everybody, you know.

6:06
So it's like, is it like, one room artists, one room DJs, or is like, mostly DJs, like, artists sprinkled in?

6:12
Nah, it's gonna be in the same room. It's two rooms, basically. So it's gonna start out with a bunch of DJs. And then we're going to switch to some performances, go back to the DJs, more performances, that kind of thing. And then the other room is, we're gonna have a vendor market, like I mentioned before, there are some performances and DJs in that room as well. But um, yeah, we just kind of try to have a mix of different things going on.

6:36
That's really cool. Yeah, honestly, the Fruits have been kind of carrying lately, there's so many venues that have just been like shutting down recently, but the Fruit's like stayed really strong, that, it must have been really good to work with.

6:45
Shout out to the owner, he has a different kind of mindset of like, putting on like, things that are actually fun, and you know, different.

6:54
Did you get to go to the slingshot festival?

6:57
Yeah, it was so good. Yeah.

6:58
Man, I wanted to go to that. How was the boiler room sets?

7:01
The bo-, yeah, the boiler room set was wild. Um, let's see, I had to leave like, a little before, I think the peak part of it, but it was pretty cool. And just like, again, it was like multiroom like, if you didn't like something, you could just move on to the next one, it was still, always fire. And it also like, had like, they let, it's very, like bookable like, like you're able to put in the show with the Fruit and like, I don't know, a lot of venues seem like less like, able to like, navigate and actually put it up. I don't know, but the Fruit is always like, this event by this person. Like every, every second of the day pretty much. We love that.

7:31
Especially post COVID Just, you know, being able to do that. I like where we're going.

7:36
For sure. Um, do y'all have any like, other like, venues in the area that you may be looking at in the future? Um, besides that.

7:43
Um, at the moment, like I said, this is our first one that we was able to focus on, but we definitely want to do more. So yeah, we just kind of wanted to test the waters with this one. And kind of go from there. Yeah.

7:54
Nice.

7:54
I mean, also, there's many venues that, you know, offer different kinds of things, whether it just be like museums, or different kinds of creative things. And you know, there's always, there's like, three or four venues in Raleigh, that you know, are still up and running and stable. So definitely want to hopefully in the future.

8:12
Yeah, that'd be really cool to like, brand like, I remember, let's see, some artists mentioned their favorite set they ever played was at like, a vegan restaurant or something. So it's always like weird little homey shows you can have.

8:21
Yeah, it's dope.

8:22
So y'all have, y'all have, you mentioned you're dropping music, was it this summer?

8:26
I dropped a project. I think it was July 8th or 9th, one of those days, one of those Fridays. It was called Lonely Hearts Club. So yeah, if you have the time go check that out.

8:38
So yeah, you mentioned it was, that yeah, you put the club in Lonely Hearts Club as it were, there's kind of like a.

8:44
Yeah, I mean, it's, it's, it's a club vibe. So it has everything from like, classic hip hop, or like, you know, very moments, kind of every emotion that you would feel at a club, but it's lonely. But I mean you know, you can still party and have fun and not, and enjoy it with people but, yeah it's, it's a, it's a vibe.

9:04
Interesting. It's, okay, kinda like, melancholic club?

9:08
There are, well yeah, but I mean, there are some high moments, that are fun, that are just like, you know, it's a club so you let loose. So yeah, it's some fun moments, but there are a lot of darker moments.

9:20
Yeah, and I believe you dropped a song pretty recently. Yeah, really, you dropped Relentless?

9:25
I did. Yeah.

9:25
Yeah.

9:26
That was, that was more like a Lucy, with uh, Chlothegod, shout out to Chlo. But I am gearing up to drop something called Lani soon. So yes, that's what I'm focused on after this.

9:39
Is that gonna be like an album or like an EP, like, what are we?

9:42
Yeah, that's gonna be my like first, like debut album, essentially. And it was kind of just inspired by like, I don't know if you heard the term Laniakea before.

9:52
I don't know if I have.

9:53
It's basically, not to get all nerdy but it's like, essentially astronomers out in Hawaii. They kind of named our Milky Way super, you know, it's called a Super Cluster essentially, just mapping out our kind of, you know, immediate universe, and Laniakea means immense heaven in, in Hawaiian. So just being inspired by that name and what that kind of represents.

10:19
That's really cool. So there's, I guess, like, how does the music connect, is it a very like? Uh, you mentioned, like you like to talk about topics, is it very, like, kind of like, a theme heavy album?

10:27
I would definitely say so. I'm, like, there's different layers to it on one, it's kind of spiritual, you know, not necessarily like religious, but just again, looking out beyond where we are here. And what that means relation to you know, what Laniakea is as far as like, how small we are compared to all the planets and stars and all that. And there's a lot of soul samples and things of that nature on it. So, in a sense, it's touching on a lot of like, exploration of faith, you know, again, doesn't have to be in a religious sense, but just, just kind of just, you know, inspired by day to day, and what that kind of inspires you to do from there.

11:08
For sure. So do you know when that's dropping around?

11:11
Yeah, it'll be definitely here, early November, I want to say.

11:15
Awesome.

11:15
Put the finishing touches on it.

11:17
Yeah, I wish you luck with that. Do you have any features lined up for it?

11:21
Yeah, I got a couple. Couple from the area with this. But a lot of different producers, for sure. Just, just around, around the way, around the internet.

11:32
Yeah, no, no, sorry. I've been talking to a lot of people who have been like, alright, this album was made by one producer, and I've worked with them and intimately, so this is a very different vibe than that.

11:39
For sure. Yeah, that was something I started like, a couple years ago, and went through many iterations. And so yeah, that's why it's kind of scattered. But there's still like a uniform sound, though.

11:51
For sure. Um, yeah, both of those sound very, like, thought provoking, I guess, were they like both, where, is there some, like, pandemic influences on those? Obviously, we've had a lot of time to kind of be in our houses and think about things. Over the last few years.

12:06
Right. And I will say, he's one of the features on there. So we definitely have something together. But um, yeah, it was weird. Like I said, I went through different iterations of it. And I've put out projects, you know, that were, that I made in the pandemic. And some of the songs that are on this one were before the pandemic, so I kind of see it as like, a time capsule of like, a couple years, you know, just grouped into one. Yeah, but definitely, you know, no, kind of, like, bars about vaccines, nothing like that.

12:39
Just like the vibe, right?

12:39
Yeah, I mean, that's, that's actually, I didn't think about it, but Lonely Hearts Club could have spoke to, like, the pandemic.

12:49
Yeah, that's what I was thinking that was.

12:50
Because, I mean, you like, essentially, the idea is, you know, we kind of complain about, we kind of complain about the things that we had. But then once those are taken away, are we still appreciative or moving forward, in that essence of, you know, being? What's there, that's why it's like, you spend a lot of time alone, you start to find what you actually care for what's actually, you know, moves you, you know, and that's a lot of people in the pandemic, we spent a lot of time alone, or we spent a lot of time with a small group of people. Because it just, we couldn't be in large gatherings. But now, though, this day shift, be in a large gathering.

13:34
Do you, do y'all like, were, was it, was the pandemic kind of, like, a time to like, work on music and stuff, and just like, focus on, on that end?

13:41
Oh, 1,000%. As I said, I made like two other projects, you know, while I was there, so I feel like for me anyway, that they may have kind of been, you know, geared towards that, my state. Yeah. Um, but let's see, I feel like being on the other side of that, we've been able to do stuff like this show. We kind of get to test out all that new material. And I kind of started like, a hyperbolic time chamber or something, just, just practicing as much as possible.

14:09
Yeah.

14:10
So that's why we're really excited to do the show. Just because it's been a while since we were able to, you know, put on an event like, like this. So yeah, I think it's gonna be a really good time.

14:19
Yeah. Do you think it's gonna like, I don't know, feel different now than, than, like, I don't know. A 2019 show or something like that?

14:26
I'm gonna be honest, just even stepping out, like, in public is totally different. Like, I mean, even being on campus, cuz I was on campus not too long ago, Chapel Hill or whatever. And it was just like, you guys don't seem like you're having fun.

14:42
Don't do that.

14:43
nah, I'm just saying like, because we like, when I was on campus. We just had fun. Like, it was the energy because it just feels like everyone's just more focused on getting through it rather than sitting there enjoying the moment, which that also is what Lonely Hearts Club is about. Like it's also about, you do have to enjoy where you're at. No matter where you're at, or any situation, try to make the best of it.

15:04
Yeah, they did a pretty, I heard macho came there last week. So they, I, I think they're starting to like, kind of come back. But yeah, it's, it's been a hard adjustment for sure. Um, so let's see, y'all um, y'all collaborate a lot, you're in the same room, of course, do y'all, like, y'all have a nice blend of like solo projects, but then like, like working on other, each other's solo projects and that kind of thing?

15:26
For sure, yeah, we definitely have something in the works. You know, once my next project is out. And I guess for next year, it's called walking miracle. So it kind of does blend, I guess, some of both of the worlds of what we've been working on.

15:41
For like the last three or four years, well, two to three years.

15:46
We'll be taking our time with it. But, yeah.

15:49
Nice. Um, and do y'all like, how much of a connection do y'all have to I guess like the local scene, like, I know, a lot of people like, I don't know, either more like, like bedroom artists and stuff. And people will be like, more like out there, like collaborating and stuff. How do you find like, a nice blend in that regard?

16:05
I will say this, this, that's part of the reason why we kind of doing this show, too. You know, I moved back here, right before the pandemic. And he was, he was out in Texas for a minute. So I feel like I want to just keep making this about the pandemic, but that definitely kind of, I guess, put, put a little bit of a block on what we may have wanted to do just with our own thing, and as far as just, you know, connecting with, you know, creators around the area. So we definitely have homies that we have connected with in the past and you know, you know, some that we're just now getting to know so again, I feel like this is the kind of the direction we want to get to with, with doing things like this and, and beyond that.

16:45
Um, let's see. So we mentioned that of course you two are both on, and Tia Corrinne, and who else is gonna be at the show specifically?

16:52
Yeah, we got, we got Les the genius. If I'm correct, I believe he goes to, or went to, State.

17:00
Yeah.

17:00
As well as, we have flower in bloom. She's a really dope like alternative r&b singer out in Winston, Winston Salem. We got ife winz, she's, she's also super dope, Afro beats artists, you know, local to Durham. And outside of us, of course, and we are actually, you know, as we are hosting this, we are representing 10 steps ahead, which is our music collective. So that's that, as well as, like I said, we have a lot of DJs on the lineup. One is called AQ. She's actually from New York. She's coming down and she, She's more of like a Afro beat house, amapiano, I don't know if you've heard of that. But yeah, that type of vibe.

17:46
Her, she's really like, amapiano. She really pushes it, so I'm really excited to see her set.

17:51
We got the homies one speaker radio. They're local to RDU, the Raleigh and Durham. Homie, Mike's message and Jay. They're pulling up. They're gonna do their thing. DJ O'henny. He's also local to Durham as well. I think something that's cool about the show is we have a lot of like, different mix of like African artists. It's not just that but that's a cool like, aspect to it. And then we also ended up adding a couple other artists to the show that aren't on this flyer, but shout out the deep end. He also went to state I believe. We got pink Moscato.

18:28
Yeah. She's from like, I think she's from this area, but she might be from like, more stationing, like Greensboro, something like that.

18:34
Yes, I've heard her recently. That was like, that was a really good show.

18:37
You say you saw her recently?

18:38
Yeah.

18:38
Oh, that's what's up.

18:39
It was at a fest? In the fest. Yeah, that was really good. Yeah. Definitely excited for that.

18:45
Who else we got? We got my homie Oh danzi. He's also more of a Afrobeats artists from around Greensboro, we also have top flow. He's from Virginia. It's more, more lyrical, you know, raps, lyrical raps. I hope I'm not forgetting anybody, but.

19:02
There's a, lolly, baby, lolly babies. She's walking home his girl, she's a Afrobeat, kind of like, kind of similar to, I don't know, if you're like, Stefan Donald, she has, like, they kind of feel.

19:18
It's also like a lot of like, you know, dope raps, you know, dope singers, you know, Afrobeats, things of that nature, and just some fire DJs so.

19:27
that's really cool.

19:27
And video games.

19:28
And video games. Cannot forget that.

19:31
Where are you in Virginia, by the way?

19:33
I was in Blacksburg.

19:34
I, someone who just graduated from WKNC moved up to Norfolk beach, and they seem to, or Virginia Beach, Norfolk area. They seem to have a really cool scene up there. What was it like in Blacksburg?

19:44
I mean, it was, it was a really interesting experience. Because it was in the mountains, so it was definitely like a small town, college town. Pretty much everything revolved around the college there. Virginia Tech. So it was very interesting. But it was cool too, because, you know, a lot of people were from Norfolk and, you know, seven five in Richmond, DC, so it's kind of getting that kind of flavor, you know, which is kind of similar vibes to, to North Carolina in a lot of ways, but it was, it was a dope experience, not being like too far from from home, but far enough to have a different experience. So.

20:22
Nice. I believe y'all, like y'all, y'all have done stuff with WKNC before, you did, like a, was it like a showcase? Like, a few years ago? Yeah, how was that?

20:31
It was, it was cool. Back in the day at Kings.

20:34
Rip.

20:35
I was about to say. Are they coming back? Like what's going on with them?

20:37
Nobody knows. Like, they had like one hopscotch day party. And that's like, been all they've done.

20:41
They had a day party? This, then recently?

20:43
Yeah.

20:43
Oh wow.

20:44
It was. Yeah, they didn't advertise it too much, either. Hopefully, they were coming back cuz, yeah, that that'd be really cool. I think we're trying to book them for our like, show this year.

20:52
Not to veer off, but you don't need to come back as Neptune's.

20:58
Are they gonna, they're in a similar like, area?

21:00
They're in like the basement of King's.

21:02
Okay, gotcha.

21:03
Do you have any intel on that?

21:05
Also, no, I think kings is more definitely more active than Neptune's, I am not 21 and definitely was not 21 then so I didn't get to go. What was, what was the vibe like in Neptune's?

21:14
Man, they played-

Amazing

21:16
The music. They had the best music in Raleigh.

21:19
Okay.

21:19
for sure.

21:20
That's a heavy statement.

21:21
They like, they wouldn't just play hip hop, they, but they would play the classics.

21:24
Yeah.

21:24
Well, they would play all like, dance music, and everything.

21:28
And just being that dive bar, they had like, cool lights in there. It was dope. I like that. Oh, what was I. That's what I was about to say.

21:37
Gotcha. Yeah. So you mentioned you were, you're representing a collective 10 steps ahead. Can you tell us a bit more about that? I have heard that name. You mentioned that before, but I don't know if I know too much.

21:47
Yeah, I mean, it was essentially just started out with all the homies rapping. You know, it's still the homies rapping. But, um, I guess just the vision for it was just like, taking that mentality of just, progress. You know, just, just, just holding yourself accountable to try to be 10 steps ahead, not try, to be 10 steps ahead, you know, that evolution and carrying that forth, you know, across multiple disciplines, you know, whether that is just music or the homies who are doing photography, doing clothing, you know, homies doing, doing real estate, stock market, just everything, just, just having that technology, just keeping that mentality. And um, we've made a lot of good friends along the way. So it's been cool to keep seeing it evolve, and um, yeah, that's really where we're at with it.

22:32
Yeah, I love talking to artists, like someone I talked to today, was like, also in like wrestling and also in like, soundtrack stuff. It's really cool. Because like, it all kind of comes together doesn't it? Like there's a very similar, like mentality about it?

22:43
Well, it gives you like, the idea of who the person is, like, if you, you know, because, you know, we're not just like, speaker box. We're actually human beings. So we all do a lot of stuff. And I think, you know, just shedding light on that is, you know, what makes an artist an artist.

23:00
Just being with like minded people, you know. And, and just having people who are doing different things, not just rapping or doing other things, you get put on to certain things like just, you know, I have friends who are really into film photography. And that's not something I'm an expert at, but like, just, just keeping that in mind improves when I'm doing my raps. And like I said, friends in real estate or the stock market, just that mentality bleeds into what we're tryna do.

23:29
Like, people in technology who are dealing with like 3d or virtual reality and augmented or just programming, you know, developing apps or whatever, it's just, you know, it's an evolution.

23:39
Yeah, it all comes together. Yeah, definitely want to hit the show real quick, just make sure we get everything out there. So y'all, so this is a Durham thing, do y'all like, is the Durham area is kind of, or like the scene, something you're kind of familiar with, generally, um, you like?

23:54
Oh, yeah, I'll touch on, I think the Durham though, as far as like North Carolina goes, is on the way to doing something crazy. Just because of what they've been able to do in the last month, couple months. With the kinds of festivals that they've been able to bring, they were able to bring like Afro Soca, they bring slingshot, you know they have the DPAC and everything, so post pandemic, I don't know the plan, but I would say Durham is the spot to be.

24:20
Yeah, especially for like, electronic, they've like always seemed to have that like, entrenched stuff.

24:24
And obviously being from from Raleigh it's like, we definitely wanna do more stuff here as well. You know, even the vision with this show, we just try to find a balance of like, getting artists from like all around, like whether that was Raleigh or the other side with Winston, even trying to balance it out as far as you know, the male and female and you know, female performers and things of that nature, the vendors, yeah, just trying to, just trying to put our spin on, on, on these type of events. So. Not to mention you know, we do have an open bar while supplies last if you, you know, if you're 21 and up. So.

25:01
Wish that could be me. One month. We're so close.

25:05
Yeah, and also also, it's not just a 21 up and party, 18 can get in, just don't drink. Please.

25:11
Of course, do not drink underage everyone. Who designed the poster by the way? There's a really cool like pattern going here.

25:18
Oh, yeah, shout out 2000 Tate. He's out in Bristol, I believe, he was, just a very fire designer. Does a lot of different designs for us. So yeah, we had another like 3d flyer floating around as well. It's pretty cool. If you come across that, it's kind of like a, like a, an open sign. But instead of like, open, it says day shift.

25:40
That was, that was designed by the designer named Astro Vet Mots. He's fire. He's done, he did uh, arfetta 3d. I think it's on one of our pages. But yeah, he's, he's super dope.

25:52
For sure. Um, is there anything else you all wanted to hit? I think we hit a lot of stuff about the show and everything coming up.

25:58
Uh, pull up. Day Shift. Saturday, October 22 2:30pm to 9pm, 12 events 15 at the door, it's gonna be a vibe, a good vibe.

26:10
And where could like, where can people find advance tickets, by the way?

26:14
You can find them on Eventbrite. Know what I'm saying. Just type in day shift, party, 10 steps ahead.

26:21
Or if you just want to search and have time, just go through events, you may or may not find it.

26:26
Or if you don't want to save money, you can just show up to the Fruit on Saturday, if you like paying more money, that's, that's fine. Oh, then also shout out to some of our vendors on the lineup, we have dirty bull brewing. They definitely got some stuff on tap if you love beer, and you're 18, not 18, 21.

26:45
Make sure it's 21.

26:46
Important.

26:46
You know. They have very good beer though. So.

We have the video game tournament, it's hosted by arcade of Thrones, they're local to Raleigh. You know what I'm saying, we have secondhand concessions. I'm not sure if you're feel-

26:58
Concession stand

26:59
Concession stand. They're like a Buy Sell Trade organization. So yeah, if you want to cop some, some dope vintage gear, they got you.

27:06
For sure.

27:07
And we have a lot more vendors too. So.

27:09
And it's hosted by this, this girl from Atlanta. She has a clothing line, it's top shelf, babe co. Her name is Nneka. So yeah, she's cool. Yeah, so.

27:22
Awesome. Yeah. Um, if that's all, and thank you, y'all so much for coming out here and throwing this really cool show. We need more shows now more than ever before. So like this is, this is really great.

27:33
Right. Appreciate you for having us. And just to reiterate, like he says, definitely gonna be one of them ones. Hoping a good time, come be respectful. And, you know, have a good time. Lani coming soon, early November.

27:47
And hopefully more fire shows.

27:49
That's right. Hopefully. Thank you, WKNC for.

27:52
We appreciate you.
