It's been really dope just working close with Kazi because of just the legend he is around here and just his knowledge and his brotherhood, man. He's just a good dude, you know what I mean? And it's rare to find that. I'm learning that even more in the music industry where somebody is genuine and then you find somebody you can actually build a relationship with who has the knowledge and the resources and all that stuff. So, man, big up to my dude Kazi, man. He approached me some time ago and was like, yo, this is what we trying to do. And I was like, I'm on board.

And so, yeah, I'm actually one of the recording engineers there and producer and a couple of other things, but those are just my main roles there. So, yes, it's officially open for business. It's in Chapel Hill, I believe. It's 45 West Franklin Street. So all you singers, songwriters, rappers, all that be trying to record come through.

Yeah, it is. They have a art section of the room, the building or whatever where they have this thing called the Art Walk. And so artists are able to come and kind of hang up their pieces and sell their pieces. They also. Kazi is also doing artist development. It's kind of gonna be like a one stop shop where you can get production, you can record, you get your stuff mixed and mastered, you get a video done, photography Done. So it's really an art studio, you know what I'm saying?

So essentially my management is based in Chicago and my good friend and manager Mike Luna runs a management company called Moon Artist. And so one of the. Or the one, the artist that's on a roster that's probably. Well, that is known the most is. Is Xavier Omar. And then there's other artists up there that are based in Chicago and that are based in Vegas. Freeman, he stays in Florida, Asia's in Vegas. Then you got, I'm in North Carolina. And then the other two guys or the other three artists got Suede in Chicago. Iris Temple is a group, two guys there in Chicago. So we're kind of like in Chicago and then kind of scattered every, you know, where else. But nah, I mean I went there last year just to go make some connections and everything. I definitely love just the atmosphere of Chicago.

But I actually, you know, I went out there, went to Classic Studios, which is like the premier spot for a lot of the bigger name artists to go to. And I actually shook hands with Elton, who is who engineered for or has engineered for Chance the Rapper. So he won a Grammy off of Coloring Book. So I got a chance to meet him. He's a really cool dude.

And I actually met a producer who's on the new episode and we worked on something and then I went back there recently to just to. We had just a full roster meeting which was really interesting. It was really dope. It gave me a lot of confidence. It gave me a lot of direction as an artist and that was the first time we got to meet everybody on the roster. So when I went last time, of course I met Suede and I didn't get a chance to meet Iris Temple.

He was kind of like there right before they did. And he's like, man, the art community, they're connected. Like, they really support each other and that's what helped their scene, like get to where it is now.

I was already going through, you know, great critiques here, like with my team. But excuse me, I would say over there, just going through critiques with my music there, it's tougher. I'm being pushed more. And it's not that my music is bad. Like, they think it's really good.
