When I was interviewing artists here, I always felt like it was better to just, like, get a vibe with people than to just, like, ask them, like, a million questions, like they're gonna get asked anyway, you know, at any other place. So, you know, we try to bring that. That spirit into the podcast.

Being able to get with, like, guys and do that and then extend that, you know, to other people who may be going through the same kind of creative, you know, hold up. And it just. It was. It was cool to use. Use our network to. To kind of one hand washes the other in that regard. So. Yeah.

Right. So, like, Cosmo's a producer for the most part. Right. I'm kind of like a producer. Rapper, SK Raps, Charles, DJs. We all have our own different relationships with the people we have on the podcast. And we all have just, like, wildly different takes on things. You know, we have people who just will Stan Drake so hard for no reason.

Even though Wolf Tracks was short lived, pretty much lasted as long as I was at NC State, the people, the alumni from Wolf Tracks that were like serious musicians are actually doing great things. So I am proud of everybody. So like, you know, Crystals, the EDM dj, he's got like over a hundred thousand monthly listeners on Spotify now. And like, you know, SK's, you know, Asheville Goat, you know. So I mean basically like we start. I started it with another guy, Grisha. Yeah, we came up with. Actually I came up with the idea because I went to south by Southwest in 2015. It was my first time, got a press pass. And I was like, my mind was blown. Like, I'd never seen anything like that. Like, this is crazy.

And there were like schools that had like, there were all kinds of like colleges that had like, you know, music industry clubs or okay, like school run radio stations, school run record labels. So I thought that concept of like a school run record label was really honestly. So I wanted to bring that back. So the professor I was talking, I was taking, actually there was a music industry class and I was taking with his name was Dr. Reali and he had like a bunch of credentials. He had worked with like a lot of cool people in the music industry. So I had talked to him about like wanting to start something like that. So helped me like kind of like come up with the structure of it. And Grisha was in the class with me. Grisha was interesting dude, man.

I met SK well, the crazy thing about how I met SK is somebody in the music industry club played his music for me and it was legitimately the first time I listened to anybody's music in that club that I was actually like, this is. So, like, I immediately was just like, yo, who is this guy? Who's this guy? I found him on SoundCloud. Found. I got. Somebody gave me his number, and I texted him and I told him that. And then the funny thing is I said, you sound just like us. Like, you have. You're gonna have no clue who this guy is, because it's a really underground rapper. It's like Homeboy Sandman.
